The food was incredibly cheap, a meal of pork, vegetables and rice was 50p....but most of us had to buy 2 meals each, as the Thais don't eat very large portions...

...the food comes with chilli dipping sauces & this french guy Sebastien (to the right of the photo) tried one of the chillies :)

'Mum' then took us to a Thai music venue. I was somewhat relieved to see that hand guns appeared to be banned at the venue, which was like a huge dance hall with a stage....

The bands played Thai music, which is kind of a mix of pop and rock which is played non-stop till 4am... the singers come on in various costumes supported by some very pretty supporting dancers..

We were the only 'farang' (foreigners) in the place which made us a bit of a curiosity among the locals who were very friendly to us. We had a great time and we rolled back at 4am (yet again !).
I had booked myself on an all day tour the next day, which began at 7am and i felt like death the next morning...
