This year was as much about escaping London for a while & taking a break from working (its been years since my last year out), as exploring the countries in South East Asia ....
..Ofcourse, I was very sad to leave my family & such a great set of friends & must admit a bit apprehensive about being away for so long. Armed with a plane ticket, open for a year, i set off...
.. on my itinerary: Singapore, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, philipines and India. I'd be using my parents house in Colombo, Sri Lanka as my base.
My first stop was Singapore, where i'd be staying with my cousin Asanka & family...
